Barman, Builder & Brawler※Shorter and broader than most Elezen men, his ears are noticeably rounded about the outer edges. His expression conveys a steady calm, yet he's quick to smile or laugh.※He generally appears to be relatively fresh from work, sawdust flecked in his hair or the scent of stale ale on his shirt. He drinks heavily and occasionally smokes a pipe.※Berndt grew up in the Brume, and maintains his permanent residence there. Heavily involved in local political life, his father is a well-regarded Hyuran mason and his mother is a mystery to most.※Berndt served during the Dragonsong War as a builder: repairing structures, erecting trebuchets and fortifications, along with other forms of hard manual and physical labor. Quite gregarious, he made many friends during wartime and reacts warmly to those who share this past.

Hello! I'm Berndt's player. Thank you for coming by and reading my character's carrd. I'm 21+ and live in the US Eastern timezone (GMT-5).I am interested in writing all sorts of stories, but Berndt is especially well-suited to plot lines that touch on public life in Ishgard, Dravanians or the future of the Brume.Though a very idealistic and hopeful character on the surface, he fits most naturally in darker tales of criminal, mercantile and political intrigue. He currently works as the barman at The Steel & Spirit, an Empyreum tavern that serves primarily former heretics and exiles.Thank you again for visiting, and I very much look forward to writing with you.
